Plastics

Plastics are used in almost every industry as they offer low weight, are easy to shape, are corrosion-resistant, have low production costs, and a variety of uses. New kinds of compounds (e.g. GFRP and CFRPs) are replacing classic materials in more and more applications.

However, dusts and vapours arise in the manufacture and processing of plastics which will need to be separated out safely. ESTA extraction systems offer a broad spectrum of uses, for example for the reliable extraction of grinding dusts, vapours arising during extruding, foam substances (e.g. Styropor) or during the machining of plastics in processing centres.
